The volume knob on the TP100 is handy. Rubber rim strips can be had that will eliminate the "bashed stick" and noise problems from the rim. I have Hart Dynamics Pro Snare and Toms and they all have the rubber rim strips. It helps a lot. I'm not positive, but I think I've seen it listed on the Drumbalaya web site. I believe it will work with the Pintech snare rims -- ask Drumbalaya they will probably know for sure. Matt Pobursky
