Okay, I loaded a couple of pictures in a new album called "CY-5 on a DTXpress III". To raise the CY-5 to a more comfortable position, I used a Tama T-fitting on the same tube as the snare. To that I mounted an Ultimate Support female/female locking swivel joint. I also had a male/female swivel joint, but by using about 3" of tubing on one female side, I was able to raise it higher over the rack's snare tube. On the other end of the swivel joint, set to a 90-degree angle, I affixed the Roland L-clamp. I already had the Tama, USS hardware, and extra tubing from all the old A-frame keyboard stands I've had collecting dust in the garage over the years. But if you decide to do it like I did, you should be able to find equivalent parts at the local music store. Be sure to let us know what you think of the CY-5 when you add it!
