RE: one more question about metronome.

1999-12-15 by Sanctum@xxxxxx.xx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

no, the metronome is either on or off, but you could achieve the same thing by recording a song using click track voices, set the number of measures the song is to run for - say eight, play for four and then drop out for the last four ( don't forget the DTXpress gives you a 2 measure count in before recording starts ) After you have played you can quantitize the song to make sure it's in time. It may take a few attmepts to get the quantitized song bang on the money, but its the only way I can think to do this.

Enjoy...

Subject: [DTXpress] one more question about metronome.

From: farmerjoe66@...

Hey, Thanks for answering my questions regarding the DTXpress!!!
I am going to use it only for practice so I think it will be great.

one more question regarding the built in metronome.

Can I set it to play for say 3 measures and then silently count for 4 and then loop back??

I want to do this primarily for working on my time and I thought this might be a great way of doing that.

Thanks

Joe
