I purchased a Koby 2 zone snare about a year and a half ago, and my first experience was good. I would however say that I'm not that impressed with the dual zone. The snare trigger is fine, once you get your trigger set up as you like it, but the rim trigger is next to useless. My solution to this was to use inputs 9/10 for the snare, and split the cable between the Koby pad and a single zone yamaha pad positioned next to the snare set up with the rim shot sound. Having said that, I have since purchased 3 more Koby pads and replaced my rubber toms. It's a much more wrist friendly playing style, and the feel is similar to my accoustic kit, so my practice sessions are more a kin to live. Or as close as it's going to get :-) Hope this helps Nic
