Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

This seems to be a common problem, but not one I've had.  There was a
thread recently about it here

My own suggestion would be to reduce all rejection setting on the kick
to zero (SelfRej, Rej and SPCRej).  You are then likely to get some
double triggering.  If it is from the kick on its own (i.e. when you
only play the kick you get extra beats) increase the SelfRej setting.
 If it only when you hit a certain pad, e.g. the snare, then use the
SPCRej to reject that a little.  If it is generally from any pad, use
the Rej parameter.
