Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I was having this missing beat problem with an osp kick and a yamaha DTX1... I replaced the kick with a pintech one and I don't get that problem anymore! And, the pintech tom's and snare are really nice too!

Thanks for the quick reply.  The referenced article seems to point to a hardware problem.  That may be the case, even though I replace my original kick pad with a roland one.  It seems the mesh ones may be the answer.  I'll try your suggestions before I go further down the hardware path, though.  I appreciate the info and I'll let you know if it worked.
