Awaiting HD-1 drum tutor with it's UM-1G USB-MIDI interface cable. And more software soon to follow..Ezdrummer or alike for new sounds.! Question: `Will this interface cable UM-1G USB-MIDI simply hook the DTX Brain right up to my computor & software via USB..? or does my sound card (5yrs old) play a part in all this. ? `2nd question is~ why do some folks talk about using a trigger I/O (like alesis) with drum software? isn't that what the DTX Brain is- a trigger...? sorry still a newbie..
