I did surrender to the temptation of ordering a TP100 from ebay over the weekend. Should get it sometime this week. I don't have a snare/tom stand but I will probably visit the thrift store to see if they have one. 

I cannot agree with you more on the hi-hat using TP65, it does feel unreal if I can say that. But that has to wait now :(

Personally except for the snare, for my playing capability, all other toms and hi-hat could be single zones. I don't think even in an acoustic set, I have ever consciously used 2 zones on the drum skins while playing them. The ride however yes, using the bell, edge etc is a common thing. So I might get myself a PCY65S soon to support the 2 PCY65 crashes I have else if there is a good deal on a 135 or 130S may go for it. The old TP65 can become an extra pad, although its going to be squished in the rack no matter where I put it.
