Jags, You will have no problems using the TP100 on the DTXpress - I have been using one for several years. I use mine on a snare stand, rather than on the rack. Make sure you buy a stand suitable for such a small snare (often a tom stand may be a better bet), although I manage with a cheap snare stand from Thomann. The volume control on the TP100 is useful, even if the red knob won't do anything. You can use the TP65 for a cymbal with no problem. Again, I did that for a while until I bought some extra cymbals - now it is back to being a tom. In fact the DTXpress comes with a TP65 as a hi-hat as I recall (I never liked that so have always used a PCY65 for the hi-hat). Keith.
