Re: [DTXpress] Re: Kick Pad problem

Man, I hate to stop you from buying your kit, but I bought mine in June, and it ;really sometimes isn't worth the grand I spent. Already I had to to send each cymbal pad to the manufacterer, the kick pad just started to not work, and the snare doesn't pick up even eighth notes on some snares sometimes. For gigging, I have never used it. I do play hard, so maybe that might help. I'm Out

I guess thats the kind of stuff I need to hear before I buy this kit.
Just as a general poll to everybody out there. Of those of you that
already own this kit, How many of you have had problems with the kick
pad, and how long have you owned your DTXpress? I'm not reading about
any other problems with the tom or snare pads, so I'm not as worried
about that. I'm thinking of ordering the kit from my local shop, so
maybe I can just tell the guy to have yamaha ship it to them with the
KP80S instead of the KP60. It would involve an extra charge, but
probably worth it.
