I've only read a bit about your problem. It would seem
to me that this might relate to drum sounds typically
being assigned to channel 10 (of 16)  on most midi
instruments. I could be WAY off base, but if all the
other sounds are being transmitted EXCEPT the drum
sounds, it would be worth investigating.
