Here is the latest update. 1. After re-reading the manual, I noticed that it states that the serial cable can be 1.8 meters (6 feet) max. The cable I've been trying to use is 10 feet. Perhaps this is the problem with my serial connection?? 2. With my module connected to my computer, via the game port to midi, and using the MPU410 driver, I can now play the Crash Crouse midi files with the Yamaha XGLite software. The midi changes the drum patches and plays other general midi tones for the play-a-long sections. It sounds very good. Now my only problem is that my computer is in my office and my DTXpress is in my garage. So perhaps getting the stand Crash Course would have been a better decision so that I would have an audio CD to use through the modules aux in??? I will keep my eyes open for the 6 ft. serial cable for kit dumps, etc. Cary --- In DTXpress@y..., Scott Bettersworth <sgbworth@y...> wrote: > Carey, > > I've only read a bit about your problem.
