Hey Aaron, I'm looking at the same option, a Roland PM-3, and can tell you only what I've learned through research and that is: Roland has produced a fine quality monitoring system for edrums that is entirely too pricey. Put more bluntly by my darling wife: "HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU PLAN TO SPEND ON THESE DRUMS?!!!" :-) The PM-3 system quoted to me by MusiciansBuy.com was $574.95 plus a $35 upcharge for overweight shipping.
