Hey fiend, finally got the whole kit huh! Cool! I can't help with all your questions because I'm a newbie too but I can share some little tips! 1. My drums are also an inch from completely covering the post and I was thinking that maybe that was ok until liberatus replied. I was assuming the knob we turned would clamp the whole thing together but maybe not? 3. My snare and hi-hat also do the same thing so I'm going to explore the world of rejections and gains but I still have some research to do on it. I have a feeling that will fix the problem. I know for sure it fixes the problem of one of them not producing a sound when the other hit at the same time. Just do a search for those posts. 4. Yes you can make the hi-hat louder and I did just this this very morning! Remember you have to raise the volumes of each hi-hat trait, such as closed, open and splashes. I also layered the hi-hat so I had two of the same hi-hat sounds layered and it produces a louder sound. I had to adjust the splash though because the layered splash was a bit too loud for my taste. Layer something by adding the second voice to it. (v=1 or v=2) 5. Again try adding another voice to your quiet toms and cymbals. Also try what liberatus suggested in the UT section. 7. I also messed with my hi-hat sensitivity in the kit menu. (the one is set to about 32 I think.) I changed that this morning too but I think I will try messing with the option in the UT menu now. Well thats it from me...I learned some stuff from your questions so thanks to you too. Liberatus provided some good suggestions as well. Keep asking if you need more help! ________________ --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "fiend455 <fiend455@y...>" <fiend455@y...> wrote: > Alright folks, strap your brain caps on I have some rapid fire > questions for ya. > > > 1.
