I've owned both the Roland V-Club and the DTX.
Buy the Roland.

Hey Guys,

I have drummed before. My brother is a pro drummer and is going to
teach me. I have been playing guitar, keys and bass for years and
have been doing home recording with Cakewalk for about 6 years. ;

I know it is going to take time to pick up the drums, but I am
confident I can do it.

Here is my question. Of the digital drumsets on the market right
now, in the under $1500 neighborhood, which do you all think is the
best for this application?

From what I have been able to read in this forum and others, I am
leaning towards the DTXPress II.

I would like to know what those of you who've been using them have
to say.

Thanks
