Are you by any chance hitting the pad on input 10 instead of input 
9? Or is there conceivably enough crosstalk when you hit 9 that 
another pad's note number is going through? Check to see whether one 
of kit 80's other inputs (a tom?) carries note number 113. If so, 
see if you can figure out how it's taking over.
