Have you tried other Midi Channels?  The only other
thing I would suggest if that doesn't work, or no one
can give you a tried and tested answer is to call
Yamaha Apps. specialist@1-888-892-6242...ask you will
be prompted for parts ect, tell them you want to speak
to an Application Specialist for the DTX...you will be
assigned a case#, and they will ask you for your
phone#.  You probably will NOT hear from them
immediately, it may take a day or a few days-let them
know your time zone and what is a good time to reach
you at home...they WILL call back.
