Good morning, Stephen, Is it a used DM5? Then it should cost around the ballpark of a used DTXPU. Even the new ones are only $300 bucks or so. It doesn't have all the amenities of the Yamaha (though thankfully some of its programmed sounds come with effects), but you've already got those. It does have some nice features of its own, though, like 18 bit processing and voices recorded in true stereo. Why not grab it? Also, just for the record, Jade's midikiti is available, not because it's too difficult to use (the tip from Yamaha solved that problem) but because unforeseen expenses have cropped up.
