Lee, That's great, and puzzling--if the Koby mesh heads are indeed true dual zones (two separate piezos for body and rim). Or are they stereo pads (a piezo for the body and a membrane switch for the rim, like the rubber Yamahas)? Since the technologies are different, they would not seem to work the same way through the module.
