Creighton, Do you remember who trashed it on Vdrum? Well, you definitely can't please all of the people all of the time (especially everyone at the Roland site), but my experience, and that of very many others, with the ZB2 is very favorable. I don't mean to diminish it by saying that I don't have it anymore (I've gone exclusively to Visu-lite); of all the stereo cymbals that I've tried, I rate it easily the highest. I think of reliability for the stereos on two fronts: (1) the probability that it will make any sound when you hit it and (2) the probability that it will provide the expected sound when you hit it. For me, the Zenbal almost never failed to sound, and it rarely failed to make the sound I expected. It also swings, unlike the similarly priced Roland CY-6 or obviously the Yamahas. By the way, I also owned a CY-6, which I found to be mediocre. When I sold it, however, VDrum people crawled out of the woodwork to buy it. So go figure. Roland people have this weird love/hate loyalty to their company. They trash the products like crazy, but many of them won't budge from them. I don't remember any particular glitches in programming it, but Stephen, who has come to love his, reported that it took some time to get them adjusted to the DTX module. I liked it better as two crashes than as a ride, because of its layout. But I would truly be surprised if any former Yamaha owner, who came to it, wasn't impressed. I'm kicking myself because I sold my Zenbal, as well as CY-6, to members of Vdrum.com. I'd much prefer to sell within this group, but at the time, no one here was interested.
