The subject piqued my curiosity so I went and checked out the thread on vdrum. It's basically two people who reported being really unhappy, though one started out differently. Chris Jude, whose opinion I respect immensely, reports that he's heard more bad than good, though he appears not to have had firsthand experience. In the interests of fair play, if any cymbal is going to get its share of criticism, it would be a stereo, and that seems to be the case at vdrum. The relative location of the triggers makes them more prone than monos or duals to disappoint. They put more of a strain on technique and attention to detail. I will also admit that so far as basic types of e-cymbal are concerned, my least favorite design is the stereos, but they have advantages of budget and space that the others don't, and, as I said, to me the Zenbal is superior to the alternatives that I know. --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "liberatusvirus" <liberatusvirus@y...> wrote: > Creighton, > > Do you remember who trashed it on Vdrum?
