Re: Pintechs - dual or stereo?

Creighton:

I have two ZB2, and am anxiously awaiting the release of the ZB2
Hihat. I also plan to replace a TPS80S that I use as a ride cymbal
with a ZB2. There may even be a ZB Splash in my future.

Ed mentioned that I had trouble setting them up. That was no fault of
the cymbal. That was my naivete' in understanding pad type
assignments. Once I was educated to that (thanks to this forum), the
cymbals performed with greater than expected results. I do have one
cymbal that the rim area is malfunctioning on, but Brian at Pintech
is doing his best to resolve that issue.

I, too, tried the CY-6 I didn't care for it AT ALL! I had some of the
single zone Hart e-cymbals but didn't like the fact that they were
single zone and non-chokable. (I do believe Hart makes a dual zone
chokable cymbal, though.) I also didn't like the Harts because they
looked ike 'real' cymbals, which would be okay if my drums looked
like 'real' drums. Does that make sense?

Go with the Zenbals, you'll be pleased.
