Creighton, Have you been using a TP pad for your ride? For some people (depending on their technique and the force of their hits), even using them as drums can wreak havoc with their joints and muscles. With all due respect to your ingenuity, if you start noticing any numbness or sensitivity in your foot from beating on that hard Remo pracice kick, you'll have to soften that blow, too.
