Dave, I'm using VST with the DTXpress - so far working great (remember to turn off midi thru so the DTXpress doesn't sound twice) Have you managed to get the DTXpress to change kits from VST - I can't seem to select user kits that I have set-up on programs 52, 53 etc. It always reverts to the general midi kit. You can control each parameter - done on the Yamaha DB50 but not tried on the DTXpress - if I succeed I'll let you know.
