Hey Draker, welcome to the group and welcome to a great, fun, e- kit! A couple of days ago I asked about the very same Behringer KX1200 amp and I got some bad feedback! I was told that brand was known for bad dynamics. There is distorting and such! Its a good deal but the sound isn't worth it! I can tell you a keyboard amp would be best to handle an electronic kits dynamic range, but try brands such as Yamaha, Roland (expensive, but good!), and Peavey. I myself am now looking at Yamaha and Roland keyboard amps. What kind of purpose will the amp serve once you have it? Are you going for practice in a little studio or playing live? Because the amp you need may need more or less power depending on its use. There are some amps made especially for e-drums such as that new, red, huge amp by Roland but it costs $850.00. That thing is about as big as the kit itself! You can also check out the Roland KC series amps too. I know some other users on here use those and can provide you with more information. Look at a couple of posts back, the thread was titled "another amp question." There is good information within in that thread. -UN.H --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "draker2003" <draker2003@y...> wrote: > Hi, > > I am a new owner of a DTXpress kit -- pretty cool!
