have any of you people seen this yet, i went into the music store on friday, and they had the new version of the dtxpress. They have done a few upgrades, there is 1 extra pad, that goes into the 9/10 input, cymbal locks to keep the cymbals from moving around, a red anodized front aluminum support that says yamaha on it, and best of all all pads are stereo pads, not sure of the cymbal pads tho. The sales guy, when i asked, said it uses the same bain, i could see it was the same but i would hope they did some software updates to it. The price is about $2250 cnd as compared to the regular dtx that sells there for about $1650 cnd, i figure the extra cost is for the stereo pads and the extra pad. Anyway looks like a nice improvement and the price is still resonable. They have a roland kit there too but it sells for like $5400 cnd. anyway i thought it was cool, just thought i would let you all know so if anyone is looking to purchase a dtx, they may want to check this one out. eddie Organization: @Home Network > > Reply-To: DTXpress@egroups.com > > Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2000 09:18:47 -0700 > > To: DTXpress@egroups.com > > Subject: Re: [DTXpress] other pads > > > > I see some > > folks on this list have used the DTXpress for stage use, but > > I just don't like the look...
