Correct. You get this effect if you plug the 65S into any of the 
stereo rather than the triple-zone inputs on the DTXpressII.

My query about the way the "triple zone" cymbal worked was not 
electrical - I agree it would work in the same way as the TP65S. It 
was mechanical. I don't see a way of making a membrane switch which 
was big enough and robust enough to operate over a wide, bell-shaped 
area without eventually collapsing and being untriggerable. The only 
thing I can figure is it might work a little like a "mini-TP65" - 
the membrane switch is just on the edge of the bell, but the bell is 
rigid enough that striking anywhere on it closes the edge switch.

Any way it works, I'd love to have one...
