As usual, OGD's suggestion hits the nail right on the head. People
have been complaining about the Xpress volume level since the group
formed. I'll soon have a Rolls HA43 headphone amp to sell. It's small
(3" x 4" x 1.25") and unobtrusive. Max gain is 20 db/channel. It has
four 1/4" TRS stereo outputs and a single 1/4" stereo TRS input for
connection to either a stereo line level source (like the output on
the back of the Xpress, using a TRS splitter) or a stereo headphone
output (like that on the front of the Xpress). It provides much more
control, and sheer volume, in conjunction with the elementary mixer
that comes standard with the Xpress. Anyone interested should let me
know.
