Many years ago I used to use a Dr. Scholls moleskin patch on my acoustic base. It never wore out and never fell off.- might be cheaper than an actual "drum" product. -----Original Message----- From: bmwbikerdave [mailto:bmwbikerdave@...] Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2003 6:02 PM To: DTXpress@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DTXpress] Just Picked Up by new DTxpressII Thanks to this group, I decided to go with the Yamaha kit and I just picked it up. Too bad Vern doesn't have the Newbie info ready as I could sure use it. In addition, I know I need to get a pad for the Kick and was wondering whether the Gibraltar pad (round and looks like plastic) would be any good or maybe a rubber tire patch. I'd be interested to hear what others think. Now off to the house to set it up.
