9/10 channels probs

2003-10-02 by JAMES HUGHES

I have the dtxpress2 kit , and i have noticed that the 9/10 trigger
input does not separate the 2, i have a stereo splitter, going to 2
mono cables to my tc14 pintech series cymbals, yet when hit , both
trigger the channel 9 sound, and sometimes when i hit a bit harder ,
on either pad, they occasionally hit the 10 sound. what am i doin
wrong!!! driving me nutz... ive tried using all stereo cables as well
and get the same effect. also after about 2 weeks of using the
upright bass drum pad... it started wearing thin... i am a double
bass player, and to have that happen so quickly is not good , ...so i
fixed the prob by adding a peice of mouse pad to the beater surface,
i just laid the trigger down on the pad traced out the circle and
glued it on... voila! a very durable surface with very little change
in sound... and last but not least ... i am looking for a snare drum
setting ... simialr to the "crack" snare on the v-drum module. could
anyone help me with the settings or close to , if you know which
snare im talking about :) ty... happy drummin'.....
