There are two differnet types of 'splitters' around. The first, which is a true stereo splitter, will generally have a red plug and a black black plug. One plug sends the signal being transmitted to the jack's ring, the other sends a signal to the jack's tip. On trigger 9/10 the tip will initiate the 9 trigger and the ring will activate the 10 trigger. The other 'splitter' that's available is not a splitter at all. It's simply a "Y" cable that will join signals from two sources into a single trigger port. They are generally all black. Are you using the correct 'splitter'? I sound like you may be using a "Y" cable. Stephen
