It's been said a lot lately, but listen to the relatively old ddrum module as well. It accomplishes what the Roland seems to on completely different principles (multisampling of each voice and analog triggering). To my mind, however, in more current terms, the DTXtremeIIS might well be the long-awaited happy alternative to the exorbitant Roland high end. Ed
