Where did I earn that vituperation? I hardly see where the post could be seen that way... ? Sorry if you felt that way. I shall try to elucidate upon my previous statement so as not to exasperate your umbrageous nature. =) I was merely saying that Boomer should just go out and experiment with what is out there in the forest. I used to run a drum shop and we would constantly get people of all ages coming in trying to duplicate some famous guy's gear, as if to somehow be like the artist in question and in turn, play like he or she... In other words, ignore what everyone else says, you reall have to find out for yourself Boomer... Phil Collins used to hack off the bottom inch or so of his sticks to make them feel right to him (before his own model came out).. Peart holds his sticks pretty high up... Copeland uses traditional grip.. this all works for them, all is fair game! > I was providing an > opinion to someone who asked, based on a lot of experimentation, > explaining why I've settled on the three sticks I have. I apologise > most humbly if you disapprove of my choices. As so was I. And I don't dissaprove of your choices or suggestions. And we shouldn't be so humble.. WE ARE DRUMMERS, DARN IT! =)
