Haven't we gone down this road, or one like it, before? The simplest 
way to use DTXchange is to connect MIDI on the DTXpress to MIDI on 
your computer's soundcard--via a joystick adaptor if it's a Sound 
Blaster-type card. I told you about it a while ago. Some people use a 
USB MIDI device on their computers instead, and a rarer breed uses a 
TO Host cable from the DTXpress to the serial port on the PC. Ditch 
whatever else you have between your module and your computer. You 
once mentioned something about a MIDI controller with a parallel port 
connection. If that's what you're using, it may be responsible for 
your runtime error 380, or invalid property value. Maybe one of our 
more computer-savvy members can get a better handle on the problem, 
but, again, I recommend that you go to the computer store and buy a 
soundcard and MIDI adaptor, if you don't already have them, and 
connect them to the DTXpress. Then DTXchange will have a fighting 
chance of doing what you expect it to.
