Hmm... a gong might give the floor tom a > boost. :-) > > Chris Personally, I've found that if you're looking for a good clean acoustic tom sound, layering the Maple tom sounds is the way to go. For my high tom I use Maple12/Maple10, meduim is Maple14/Maple12, and low is Maple16/Maple14. I acutally got the idea from the Funk4pc syx file that is availbe in the files section. As far as "punch" is concerned, certain tuning combo's between the higher and lower tom sound for each drum make a big difference. Hope that helps. - Adam
