Good News, Ed!
The other Ed sent me a reply from a previous customer who bought the 
MS50DR last month. He claims he gets FULL RANGE response with plenty 
of power( in an in-home application similar to mine). He said to 
recommend it with confidence! Of course, I don't know him, but would 
expect him to know if it lacks enough power and depth to drive the 
kick drum. It's always good to hear an owner's opinion- that's why 
these forums are so great!!!
