Ed, I posted a question to you on DTXtreme, but sometimes they are very slow to show up. I asked if you had heard of the wear and "crumbling" of the pad material of the KP65. Stewart forwarned me to apply a patch to slow the degradation, and assured me it was a known problem. I'm certaunly going to take his advice. Have you ever had a discussion with your sources at Yamaha about this , or its possible solution? Thanks Dan
