I'm trying to get specifically to DAZ or any one who uses the Behringer KX1200 Keyboard monitor. I just purchased a KX1200 today, online, and it will probably be here before the end of the week. My question is, however, give me an idea of which channel you are connecting your DTXPRESS III set to and what you're setting some of your settings on the KX1200 for the best sound with your DTXPRESS III set, will you please? Thanks, Glen gdearl@... -----Original Message----- From: reetaprice [mailto:reetaprice@...] Sent: Tuesday, May 25, 2004 7:47 AM To: DTXpress@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DTXpress] Re: Amps n' such... --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "supernovanexus" <supernovanexus@y...> wrote: > All I do is search and search on what to do about monitoring. I think it was a 300 watt Mcgregor amp with a 2x15 cab. It was a monster, when you start going round the kit and giving it a bit of stick (and pedal), you could feel the room shake. However after reading a few reports from here, I opted to change for the behringer kx1200. The first thing I noticed was the cymbals came to life, the difference in sound quality was amazing. There are also four seperate inputs, so anyone can just turn up with their guitar, plug in and off you go. As if all that wasnt good enough, I managed to pick up the kx1200 for 210 gbp delivered, and sold the old one for 250. One word of warning though, after searching for reviews of the kx1200 I did find quite a few who complained about build quality and even the terrible state they arrived in due to poor packaging. I can only say that the one I have arrived in pristine condition and sounds excellent. I hope this is of some help to you.
