Thanks Stephanie, like I just told Rob, I really do appreciate any comments about either the DTXPRESS III or the Behringer KX1200 that anyone can give. It's all I have to go by until I receive my kit next Tuesday. I did receive my KX1200 this past Thursday, however, all I have to test it with is my Gibson Epiphone Les Paul guitar, which, as I'm sure you know, doesn't have the real lows or the extreme highs, like we need for the DTX, in order to test it thoroughly. As far as size, however, the KX1200 isn't extremely impressive, is it? Its funny how times have changed, in that regard, when I was growing up, the larger the amp the better. Now, it seems that you can't really tell at all about the volume or quality of amplification by the size of it. It's like my surround sound system to my entertainment center, I have an extremely expensive surround sound speaker system hooked up to my system, however, it looks like it would be no big deal, until you turn it on and especially crank it up, then look out. It will blow you away, and I don't mean just volume, I mean with some of the lowest of lows and the highest of highs with absolutely no distortion or feedback what so ever. It is fantastic that they found a way to come of with a way to get that kind of size to play that kind of quality and volume out of it. Any way, enough of my rambling on, I just wanted to thank you for your input about the KX1200, as well. It makes me feel a whole lot better now that I know that I have purchased a fairly highly rated amplification system for the DTX. The thing I love about this amp (which I have) is that it's a 3-way system, which has a better frequency distribution across the spectrum, AND the power supply/subwoofer combination seems well matched. The latter means that the the power supply is strong enough to control that big sub accurately, so that when you really crank the amp, you don't hear that flubbing and/or the voice coil clanging against the back of the magnet. If I, a deaf person, can hear that coil clanging, it's GOT to be bad sounding to people who have normal hearing! I hear that with the Roland keyboard amp with the 12" sub (I know, a 15" pushes more air than a 12") at fairly loud levels, plus the bass and hits are simply not as tight (muddy), AND that amp is even more money than the KX-1200!
