Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Anyone get a BP80 to put on their 9/10 input?  Mine arrived today and I'm
having a terrible time with it.

In order to make the two pads trigger independently at all, I have to use a
SpecRj level of 9 (the highest).  (9 rejecting 10 and 10 rejecting 9, of
course).  A level of 8 is basically completely ineffective.  I have set both
types to BP as well.

Even in this state though, the output levels from each piezo are so similar,
about one in twenty hits (especially at low to moderate volume levels), the
wrong trigger fires.

Anyone had any luck with this?  If I can't do anything, I'd rather go with
alternative equipment...
