Bongo, RHP stands for "real head pad," which was the term used for the mylar pads that came with the first version of the DTXtreme. Because the module increases the signal when set for that type of pad, and because your problem occurs only with light hits, I'm lead to believe that your gain/minumum velocity settings for input 8 aren't adequate. What happens when you raise the gain a notch or two and lower the min vel? Ed
