DTXchange was done in VB using the Maybry control, and we first extended that to handle multiple messages. We are doing a VC++ app in the form of a wizard for walking the user through the process. We are trying to eliminate the (now obsolete) Maybry control, and we've got the backup going using native serial comms, but the DTX seems a bit funny over timing on the restores, so we may be stuck with still using it. Apart from backup/restore - what I really want to do with the software is load the user song area direct from a standard midi file, without going through the recording process. - But we cant seem to work out how the data is stored internally. Thanks for the offer of testing - we'll be sure to take you up on that. Roger --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "Kevin Richard" <kevin_richard@b...> wrote: > Thanks for the reply...
