Roland CY-8 Cymbals

Roland CY-8 Cymbals

Does anyone use the Roland dual zone CY-8 cymbals? I'm considering
upgrading to them but I can't find any user reviews online. Does
anyone know how stable they are, how long they last, etc...

The Roland cymbals are durable and generally do what they are
supposed to do, but a number of us over the years have found that
they do not necessarily provide the most robust response through
Yamaha modules. My personal experience with the Rolands ended with
the CY-6, which I didn't keep. Try one through a Yamaha module at
Guitar Center, or ask Ed Morin at Drumbalaya about the match
(especially if you're willing to buy it there).
