TP65S hot spot

TP65S hot spot

2005-02-25 by vap19592000

Wow!!

Where did this problem come from??? When playing a constant snare
beat on the TP65S pad (CENTER), all of a sudden the pad plays up.
Somehow,
One of the beats produced is LOUDER, or STRONGER than the normal ones.

It sounds terrible!! Seems like there is a "hotspot" within the
CENTER area of the pad
that activates or causes this phenomena to occur.

This does not occur on every hit, but randomly as it wishes.

Any one out there experienced this problem??? What was the fix??

I've had my DTXpressII for about a month now and have noticed the exact same problem. I'd be curious to find a fix for this annoyance as well...

I seem to remember something like that happening when the sensitivity
knob that used to be on the bottom of the early Yamaha stereo pads
was turned up too high. Make sure that gain and its trigger-mode
complements aren't programmed too hot.
