track recording

2006-04-27 by carlos

Hello everyone, I have a dtxpress 2 and I`ve been doing some track
recording but I`ve encountered a problem when I record onto track 1
and play it back there`s no sound even though the led blinks. I don`t
have this problem when I record on track 2. I will appreciate some
help.
Thank you

Came accross your post while cleaning my in box. Do you have the drum
part muted? Muting the drum part actually mutes midi channel 10
(rhythm) on track one, allowing you to use channel 10 on track 2 as a
work track. So even if you record/replace channel 10 on track 1 you
will need to un-mute the drum/rhythm part in order to hear it
playback. It is confusing because you can still hear/play channel 10
as you are recording, so why doesn't it play back? Hope this helps.
