adding extra cymbals and toms

adding extra cymbals and toms

I have very little jacks on the back of my mnodule to do this, is there
a way around that to add more cymbal triggers ?

You can use a "Y" splitter, but you only get one trigger per jack...
check your book, and you can see what imports are double.

Just to "expand" on that a little more (sorry for the pun), you can
add two more single zone pads by using the 9/10 input jack. That is
as much expansion as has been designed into the DTXpress unit.

However, you can use the exisiting inputs to add an extra pad if they
are only single zone by using the "magic box/DTXpander" circuit I
designed. The circuit is in the files section if you want to build
one yourself. The limitation is that you cannot hit two pads on the
same input simulataneously (with the exception of 9/10 which is really
two inputs).

Keith.
