I'm not familiar with that pedal but I do have a Pintech dual-zone pad. I had some trouble with settings initially and calling Pintech was very helpful. If you are not in the USA, they'll respond to e-mail. They were happy to help and had actually just picked up a DTXpress so they can work through the setup problems. Hi, I think you may have trouble. I have a dtxpress, yamaha hh60, roland td8 and pintech hyperhat, so I've tried this. The 2 pedals basically switch different values of resistance across the circuit. the yamaha uses high values, and the pintech uses low values, the yamaha moudule is looking for high values and just regard the pintech as a short circuit. So basically they are incompatible, unless pintech can change the resistances for you. Unless you have a brand new pintech, the yamaha is a better pedal anyhow. --- In DTXpress@y..., reva@n... wrote: > hello all, > i just bought a pintech hyperhat pedal from ebay, and > can't seem to get it to work with my dtxepress module,i tried this > using a stereo cable ,and nothing happened, i had hooked up my old > pedal, and it worked fine,i had the pintech pedal tested and it works
