Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,

In my DTXpress-3,when i click Song play button, song is not playing(Song button led not blinking) and click is not working( no click sound and click button is not blinking).Also Some pads(assigned with pad song) for example, drumkit no 33 tom1 and tom3 are not sounding. How to rectify this problem?

Which song number are you trying to play?  If you try to play a user song and there is nothing recorded there will be no click.

Have you recently bought the kit?  If so, a factory reset is usually a good idea.

For kit 33, toms 1 & 3 are "songs" so their volume is controlled by the "accomp vol" so make sure that one is not turned down.

Sounds like you have the MIDI sync mode set to External.  Set it to Internal.  Check your manual for the appropriate set up page.

In my DTXpress-3 Sound module, I found UT SEQ SETUP Sync Mode=ext (Reference manual page no-36, 5-3, Sync Mode). After changing Sync Mode to int, the problem got solved (Songs are playing, Click is working and pads which are assigned with pad songs (for example Drum kit no 28, 33 etc) are working fine.
