Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Is anyone using triggers to trigger acoustic drums for live playing? I tried triggering my
Roland DDR-30 about 15 years ago, and eventually decided that the bass drum was the only drum that worked well enough on a consistent basis, but there weren't many triggers on the market back then. I'm hoping things are much more advanced now.

If you are triggering drums with DDrum or pintech triggers, or any other kind, please
let me know how satisfied you are and if you can recommend a certain type of trigger over others. Also, does anyone know of any "famous" drummers who trigger electronic drums from an acoustic set for live playing.

In Modern Drummer magazine I have seen a few drummers who trigger, 
usually with Ddrum triggers. If you watch David Letterman, You'll see 
Anton Figg triggers with Ddrum Triggers. That's how I came to know 
them.I triggered with Ddrum triggers and a DM5 for four years with 
excellent results. Once you get the parameters set, they are awesome!
