Thanks for the info. I tried the DT2 today at Guitar Center here in
NY and they were great. They sound and feel like a much more
expensive kit unlike the Roland compatable model the V club. The V
club feels less sturdy(rack,pads,mounts) and can not handle a double
kick. Also I don't think the snare is a triple zone. So for all you
DTX owners you saved yourselfs a few hundred and came out with a
better kit. As for the volume through the phones I found them loud
enough even with all the noise in the store. I didn't know to ask if
the headphones were low impedence or not but I'll try them with a
high impedence pair and see if that makes a difference.As soon as I
get that info I'll pass it on. Well I'll be joining your ranks as
soon as my delivery comes in.
